Copyright of Faith Press publications
You are here – Home – Faith Press – Copyright of Faith Press publications
The Society of the Faith does not, so far as it is aware, hold the copyright for any former Faith Press publication. The copyright of the typographical arrangements (that is, the published edition) lasts for 25 years after the year of first publication and, in the case of every original Faith Press publication, this has now expired. More importantly, authors’ copyright, which includes composers’, lasts for 70 years after the death of the author. Because of this, most Faith Press publications will still be covered by copyright and anybody who wishes to reproduce (other than for completely private use) any publication or part of a publication needs to contact the author or his/her representatives for permission.
When, after the proper procedures have been undertaken, a Faith Press work is republished or quoted, we should appreciate it if the Society of the Faith is acknowledged.
